Former India captain Virat Kohli was pictured with wife Anushka Sharma and daughter Vamika in London. The happy family was seen in checking into the team hotel in the city. The photos instantly went viral on social media as the 33-year-old was seen carrying his daughter adorably in a stroller.
Virat Kohli has struggled for form over the last couple of years and his problems worsened after he was ruled out of the 1st Odi at the oval. The former India captain reportedly suffered a groin strain and his availability for the rest of the series in questionable.
Kohli hadn’t travelled from Nottingham to London in the team bus but did arrive on the eve of the match. He was nonetheless not pictured during the warm-ups, given his injury status.
At the toss, Rohit Sharma confirmed that Virat Kohli was ruled out of the 1st ODI on Tuesday. The Indian captain said, “Today is no different. We have five batters, two all-rounders. Kohli is not playing this game, Shreyas will bat at 3.”
