Ravindra Jadeja’s time as a CSK player seems to have come to an end as the ex-captain has delegated all CSK related posts from his account. Now, Jadeja on Friday deleted all CSK posts from his account for the three years, further hinting at the deotriating relationship between the player and the franchise. The duo had previously unfollowed each other on Instagram right after the end of the IPL season.

“Yes he (Ravindra Jadeja) is upset & very hurt. The captaincy issue could have been handled better. Everything was too sudden, too abrupt. Any human being would get hurt by the way things shaped up”, said a source close to Ravindra Jadeja had told Insidesport earlier.

Soon after the sack, Jadeja was ruled out of the last few games of the season citing a rib injury. Howevewr, the sudden departure from the camp sparked rumours of a rift with the franchise. Add to that the team unfollowing him on social media, it seemed that the Jadeja chapter in CSK history came to an end.

“Ravindra Jadeja reported a bruised rib and was unavailable for Chennai Super Kings’ game against Delhi Capitals on Sunday. He was under observation and based on medical advice he has been ruled out for the rest of the IPL season,” said an official statement from CSK had noted that time.

Jadeja spent 10 years with Chennai Super Kings after being signed in the 2012 auction. During his time in Chennai, the Rockstar won two IPL titles, establishing himself as one of the finest all-rounders in the game. One of the senior most members, the 31-year-old was handed the baton after MS Dhoni decided to step down and was retained for a whopping Rs 16 crore.

However, CSK lost six games in their eight outings under his captaincy. Jadeja even lost his form and managed to score only 111 runs and took three wickets in these matches.
