With English openers putting up a century stand, Bumrah dismissed Zak Crawley to bag his first wicket of the innings and then went on to dismiss Ollie Pope.
Bumrah now has 101 wickets against SENA and is the sixth bowler in Indian cricket history to achieve his feat. Previously, Anil Kumble, Zaheer Khan, Ishant Sharma, Mohammed Shami and Kapil Dev have also achieved this feat. In this test, Bumrah broke quite a few records including, being the only Indian pacer after Kapil Dev in 1987 to captain India.

Jasprit Bumrah in the first innings registered a world record. This, however, was not with the ball. He went on to hit 35 runs against Stuart Broad in a single over, making it the highest ever run scored in a test match. Bumrah hit 29 runs in the over, the remaining 6 runs were made owing to extras.
India made a slow comeback into the game in the final innings of the fifth test. Set to chase 378, England got off to a wonderful start with the openers building a partnership of 107 before the first break. With Bumrah giving two back-to-back breakthroughs, India will be eyeing to put more pressure on England to seal the tie in their favour.
