Manisha Kalyan makes History! Gokulam Kerala FC striker joins Cyprus Apollon Ladies club, to become first Indian to play in Champions League – check outCyprus Apollon Ladies club is scheduled to play in round 1 of the qualifying round of the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
Manisha’s new club will take on Riga FS of Latvia on 18th August 2022. If Cyprus Apollon Ladies club progresses into the next round, they will take on the winner of FC Zurich vs Faroe Island’s Klaksvik Kvinnur.
Manisha Kalyan has been a prolific forward for Gokulam Kerala FC over her three-year tenure. Not only is she a goal-getter, the young forward is an excellent dribbler. She plays as a left-wing forward and is adept at getting past defenders and taking shots at goal. One of the highlights of her career is scoring a gem of a goal against Brazil in an international friendly game.

Hailing from Punjab, Manisha Kalyan won the 2022-21 AIFF Emerging player of the year. She has managed to score 40 goals in 51 matches for both club and country. Last season, she became the second-highest goal scorer in the tournament after scoring 14 goals.
Following the likes of fellow Gokulam FC former teammate Dangmei Grace, she makes a move to a foreign club.
