Krafton will celebrate Battlegrounds Mobile India’s first anniversary on 2 July 2022. Similar to the introduction of the PUBG Mobile Vibrant Anniversary mode during the fourth anniversary of PUBGM, Battlegrounds Mobile India players expect the same for the first anniversary of BGMI.

On September 2, 2020, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY) banned the famous Battle Royale title ‘PUBG Mobile’ along with 117 other apps due to security issues. According to MEITY, these apps were banned due to security concerns for India’s defense and the security of the state.
