F1 British GP LIVE: Max Verstappen takes the FP3 session: Red Bull’s Max Verstappen was the fastest overall in the FP3 session of the British Grand Prix at the iconic Silverstone circuit. He was followed by his teammate Sergio Perez in the second spot and Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc had to settle for the third spot overall. Max Verstappen was the quickest overall as he was just improving his lap time throughout the FP3 session. In his first flying lap itself, Verstappen crossed the finish line in the first spot, and since then he was just pushing the RB18 challenger. Meanwhile, Perez claimed the second spot and Leclerc finished third as the Monegasque driver was on the tail of the Mexican.

Both the Mercedes took home the 4th and 5th spot as George Russell finished fourth and Hamilton had to settle for a fifth-place finish. Both the Brit drivers didn’t disappoint the home crowd as they showed great improvements throughout the session.

Carlos Sainz had to settle for a sixth-place finish and he was followed by another Brit driver in the seventh spot. It was McLaren’s Lando Norris who took home the seventh spot as he too showed great improvements as compared to his teammate.

Alfa Romeo’s Valtteri Bottas has had a great time till now in the practice sessions as he finished eighth overall. It was Haas’ Mick Schumacher who had a great day as he claimed the ninth spot and was followed by the Spanish driver Fernando Alonso in the tenth position.

Alpine’s Esteban Ocon claimed the eleventh spot as Alpine had a great FP3 session. They were the fourth-best team after Red Bull, Ferrari, and Mercedes. The veteran driver Sebastian Vettel took home the twelfth spot and was followed by the Chinese driver Guanyu Zhou in the thirteenth spot.

Alex Albon in his Williams claimed the fourteenth spot as he was followed by Pierre Gasly down in the fifteenth spot. Lance Stroll in his AMR22 had to settle for a sixteenth place finish and was followed by the Japanese driver Yuki Tsunoda in the seventeenth spot. It was a tough session for the AlphaTauri drivers as they were reeling in terms of pace.

McLaren’s Daniel Ricciardo also had a poor FP3 session as he claimed the eighteenth spot and was followed by Nicholas Latifi in the nineteenth position. Lastly, Haas’ Kevin Magnussen finished last in the twentieth position.
