xQc and El Rubius pretend to be Jedi on livestream – Earlier this week, El Rubius had challenged Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel to a boxing match on Ibai’s stream. xQc quickly responded and accepted the challenge within a day, but lay down his own conditions as well. Soon after the challenge was sealed, xQc and Rubius could be seen on their respective livestreams, pretending to fight and intimidate the other by making a great show of their physical strength. The duo put on a great show for their respective audiences, lifting heavy objects to intimidate the other. However, the icing on the cake was when Rubius brought out his light saber, and xQc, without skipping a beat, pulled up a bunch of blinds to substitute as a light saber.
xQc uses a bunch of blinds as a light saber on livestream with El Rubius
On June 27, El Rubius and xQc came face to face when they pulled up each other’s livestreams on their respective streams. Soon after, the duo could be seen on their feet, pulling up their shorts and sleeves to reveal their muscles as an act of intimidation. They proceeded to lift random objects around their room and throw punches into the webcam, but neither streamer was deterred by the other’s acts.
As a final act of intimidation, El Rubius decided to pull up his light saber and throw some swings at his webcam. However, xQc was not to be deterred by this. Without skipping a beat, the former Overwatch pro brought out a bunch of blinds stacked together to look like a sword.
He proceeded to whip the same at his webcam, trying his best to intimidate Rubius. While neither streamer seemed particularly intimidated, the exchange provided for hilarious content for their viewers.
The streamers are set to lock horns in 2023
When xQc accepted Rubius’ boxing challenge, he lay down two conditions of his own. First, neither party would train for boxing, but only train for physical conditioning to improve their performance. Second, the challenge would be executed in 2023, providing both streamers with sufficient time to physically condition themselves.
However, xQc did not shy away from some trash talk before accepting the challenge. According to the French-Canadian streamer, he can “fold [Rubius] into half like a stack of papers.”
Fans are quite excited to see the outcome of this match up, but they have quite some time to wait before the challenge takes place.
