Formula 1: Sergio Perez hails his teammate Max Verstappen as the greatest of all time: Red Bull’s Sergio Perez feels that his teammate Max Verstappen, the reigning F1 champion can be the greatest driver of all time. Meanwhile, both the Red Bull drivers have started the 2022 season on a high note. Follow Formula 1 Updates on InsideSport.IN.

Sergio Perez, who registered his second DNF of the season at the Canadian Grand Prix last weekend told Fox Sports, “Max is very good and he is a very complete driver. He is without a doubt one of the best in the history of Formula 1, if not the best, for everything, for his education and because he has things that other Formula 1 drivers do not have.”

“The special thing about Max is the ease of going to the limit, Max goes to the limit from the first lap, every change he makes to the car is important and it’s not that he changes his conditioning style, he always goes to the limit. The difference is always a corner, it is a level that demands a lot as a driver,” Perez added.

Max Verstappen started the 2022 season on a disastrous note as he had to retire twice from the first three races. But, since then Red Bull have found the solution to their relatability issues and hence he has picked up and never looked back.

He recently won his first Canadian Grand Prix last weekend and takes his tally to six wins overall this season from nine races. On top of it, he has extended his lead at the front in the drivers’ standings with 175 points.

However, things didn’t work out well for the Mexican driver as he registered his second DNF of the season. In this process, he lost out on points but stays second overall in the drivers’ standings with 129 points.

“We can’t have another zero, we need to correct these problems and be perfect to get closer to the championship. The championship is young and it can change in one or two weekends, we have to keep working and it is a point that will define the year, these zeros are very important at this point,” Perez concluded.
