Replacing him would be Mr. Sunando Dhar, who would be working as the Acting General Secretary. Mr. Dhar has been tasked with the responsibility of carrying out the day-to-day work of the AIFF. The CoA consists of Anil Dave, Dr. SY Qureshi, and Mr. Bhaskar Ganguli. The main job of the CoA is to frame the new constitution of the AIFF and democratically conduct the elections of the AIFF within the stipulated time.

On Kushal Das taking a leave and Mr. Sunando Dhar replacing him as the acting General Secretary of the AIFF, Mr. Ranjit Bajaj in an exclusive conversation with InsideSport.IN said, “The CoA in their infinite wisdom has taken the right decision”.
“The reason of FIFA and AFC to visit India is to check out the interference from the third party. The CoA is a transitory body so that the elections can happen immediately. The new constitution will follow FIFA’s guidelines.”

“Tomorrow’s meeting is just going to show honest facts. We are making sure that nobody is going to have a conflict of interest if that person seeks to take part in the election. We are going to make sure that the day-to-day running of the AIFF is perfect,” Bajaj concluded.
A team of delegates from FIFA and AFC is scheduled to visit India today and they will have a meeting with the AIFF and the CoA tomorrow to decide the future of Indian football. As per the norms of FIFA, no third party is allowed to control the apex Football Federation of the country. Therefore the delegations will pay a visit to Delhi to see how the working of AIFF is currently taking place.
