England who was set to bat first went on to score big runs on the board. Dawid Malan played a terrific knock, where one of his gigantic sixers landed in the trees beside the stadium. In a comic affair, the ball was nowhere to be found and therefore the Dutch players joined hands to search for the ball.

Cricket fans took to social media to where they reminisced about their days of childhood. Often in street cricket if a ball got lost, the fielders would go on and search for the ball in the bushes, much like what happened today in the match.

The Netherlands won the toss and opted to bowl first. The Dutch side began their innings on a splendid note when they went on to dismiss opener Jason Roy for just 1 run. Eager to continue their good momentum the Dutch side tried hard but eventually failed.
Dawid Malan and Philip Salt both went on to register a 100+ run knock along with individual tons. England who are now approaching 300 runs, will eye more runs to finish their innings on a grand note.
