“The most important part of Le Mans is the start of the race. But then the most important part of the qualifying is the end of the qualifying. So I think with that, we can have the TV audience watch both: the start of Le Mans and the end of the qualifying.”
“There is not usually as much choice with how to move things around time-wise. But like I mentioned, I’d be disappointed if the start of Le Mans was clashing with the end of the qualifying. Since it’s clashing with the start, I think that will still bring all the spectators in,” Rahimov concluded.

F1 will start the qualifying session at 2:00 GMT and the 24 hours of Le Mans race will also begin at the same time. Moreover, fans will again face an issue on Sunday with the F1 race beginning at 12 pm BST, as the last hours start before the chequered flag is tossed at Le Mans.
Meanwhile, Le Mans comes under the ‘triple crown’ of motorsport which includes the IndyCar 500 and also the Monaco Grand Prix. Graham Hill is the only driver who has completed the triple crown.
