Notably, England will take on New Zealand for the second of the three-match Test series on Friday, June 10, but their skipper Ben Stokes is very unlikely to be seen bowling in this match. Sky Sports has revealed that Stokes could bowl only 6-8 balls on Wednesday, before heading to see the team doctor.

However, thankfully for the Three Lions, he was able to bat without any discomfort and is likely to do the same in this game. England have already announced their playing XI for the match, and quite expectedly, Brendon McCullum has decided not to make any changes to the team.

While the Three Lions won’t be able to avail Stokes’ bowling, they will have the services of Jack Leach, as the spinner has recovered fully after a heavy fall in the first Test.
