The Italian was by all accounts not the only F1 star to highlight in the match, as ex-Red Bull driver Kvyat highlighted in the resistance group to the hustling chief. 13 minutes into the game Kvyat got the opportunity to get his name on the scoresheet as he hustled through on objective following a through ball.

The one-man in Daniil’s way was however Domenicali, as the CEO took off his line to take out the previous Red Bull man in a crunching one-on-one test. In spite of preventing a goal, it wasn’t all uplifting news for the Italian, who spread absolutely on the floor following the test.

The collision was later uploaded on social media and various Formula 1 fans obviously saw the funny side, contrasting the tackle with an accident on the race track.
One Twitter fan saw the funny side and joked, “Race control: incident between Domenicali and Kvyat under investigation.” The other fan commented, “10-second penalty for Domenicali for causing a collision.”
Domenicali is in Monaco during the current week’s Grand Prix, with the celebrated road race one of the most iconic tracks in the F1 season. There are fears however that the famous track will no more host any F1 races in the future, with the Italian already cautioning that the noteworthy tracks could well lose their race weekends.
