WWE could end the brand split between WWE Raw and WWE SmackDown. In 2016, WWE split the superstars and made them exclusive to a particular brand. It now looks like WWE will end that six years later. Follow WWE News and Updates on InsideSport.IN
Nevertheless, the brand split has been very successful for the WWE. It kept superstars exclusive and also helped in creating bigger stars. The concept was brought into play in 2002 and discontinued in 2011 until its restart in 2016.

Bryan Alvarez from Figure Four Online spoke on this topic. He mentioned on Wrestling Observer Live WWE is more or less done with the Brand Split. He also claimed half of Raw roster will show up on SmackDown including names like Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins.
“This isn’t anything official, but the brand extension is essentially done. Half of the RAW crew is going to be on SmackDown Friday. Cody’s gonna be there, I think Seth is gonna be there. Edge doing whatever and it makes for a better show, as we’ve mentioned a thousand times.” [H/T Ringside News]
The company hasn’t announced anything officially yet. As of now, it looks like the superstars will work on separate brands.
WWE Had Already Started Giving Hints Regarding Brand Split Ending a Few Years Ago
While many may feel WWE started having superstars cross brands recently. This kind off started a couple of years back. A few years back, WWE had started a rule known as the Wildcard rule.
In this rule on every show three superstars of SmackDown could appear on Raw and vice versa. In recent times, We saw the bloodline go over to Raw many times even before they unified the their championships.
We also saw on multiple occasions, RK Bro coming over to the blue brand. This trend looks to continue more and become daily stuff for all superstars to cross over whenever they feel like.
