IPL 2022 Qualifier 1: Rain threat looms large as thunderstorms predicted in Kolkata
- The Qualifier 1 match would be played between Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals on Tuesday, May 24
- However, the weather forecast predicted is not that great as thunderstorms are expected during the match
- If the rain continues to pour at Eden Gardens in Kolkata, then a super over would decide the outcome of any IPL playoff matches
- If ground conditions remain to be unfavorable then the team standings during the league stage of IPL would determine the winner.
- Matches can begin as late as 9:40 PM IST without any overs lost. Qualifier 1 and Eliminator match will be played at Eden Gardens.
