Williamson welcomes ‘Whnau Little’ –
- New Zealand captain Kane Williamson took to social media on Sunday, May 22 to announce the birth of his second child with partner Sarah Raheem. Williamson and his partner were blessed with a baby boy.
- “Welcome to the whnau little man,” Williamson said in an Instagram post, sharing a photo of the newborn son along with his partner Sarah and their first child. Williamson and Raheem have a daughter Maggie, who was born in 2019.
Williamson flew back to New Zealand-
- Earlier, Williamson had left the SRH bio-bubble on May 18 and flew back to New Zealand to be with his partner and family for the birth of their second child. Williamson was leading SRH in IPL 2022.
- “Our skipper Kane Williamson is flying back to New Zealand, to usher in the latest addition to his family. 🧡 Here’s everyone at the #Riser camp wishing Kane Williamson and his wife a safe delivery and a lot of happiness! #OrangeArmy #ReadyToRise,” SRH posted on their official Twitter handle when Williamson left.

- Both SRH and Williamson didn’t have to much to enjoy as they brought the IPL season to close on Sunday.
- In 14 matches, SRH registered 6 wins and 12 points with Bhuvneshwar Kumar leading the side in Williamson’s absence.
- They initially won five in a row, but lost form at the wrong time of the season to finish in eighth position.
- With a repeat in position stats, SRH hardly made any progress in the current season of the IPL
