Why did Mbappe snubbed Real Madrid?–
- The Frenchman was a long term target for Real and stepped up for the deal in 2021 summer, before missing out and actually ended up signing Eduardo Camavinga.
- Money factor became a big part of the deal, where Mbappe was offered $AUD225 million for signing with Real Madrid.
- Also he showed desire to play for the Los Blancos while keeping no secret of it.
- But PSG’s commitment to offer Mbappe similar amount and wages and privileges meant that PSG took the front runner’s seat in the deal.

The PSG project and the Champions League-
- While it remains a dream for everyone to win the Champions League, PSG and Mbappe also didn’t hide their desire.
- The lucrative signings of Neymar, Lionel Messi and the ability to gather big names also played in the hands.
- While Mbappe has already played in a CL final for PSG in 2020, losing to Bayern Munich, his desire to win the CL with PSG was one more reason to stay in Paris.
- So far Mabppe has won every domestic trophy with PSG and the only one that misses is the CL.
