Shastri’s words on fitness regime after Dhoni’s return plan –
Shastri worked in close corners with Dhoni during his coaching stint with the Indian Team and reminded why he is one of the best in the fitness regime, “he looked supremely fit this year.”
Dhoni in IPL 2022-
- The former India skipper returned to the helm of captaincy at the backend of last month but couldn’t prevent the embarrassment of finishing ninth in the IPL 2022 standings.

Dhoni’s return plan–
While Dhoni was in for the final toss of the season and expected to make an announcement he said, “Definitely. It’s a simple reason.. it will be unfair to not play in Chennai and say thank you. Mumbai is one place, where as a team and as an individual, I have got a lot of love and affection.
“But it wouldn’t be nice to the CSK fans.
“Whether it will be my last year or not that’s a big question, because you know we can’t really predict something two years down the line, but definitely I’ll be working hard to come back strong next year.Definitely.”
CSK and Dhoni with a season to forget-
- The season didn’t bring happy memories for CSK and MS Dhoni as the defending champions finished ninth with 8 points in 14 matches.
