IPL 2022: Virat Kohli inducts De Villiers and Gayle in RCB hall of fame – It was fitting that Virat Kohli inducted the first inductee De Villiers in the RCB hall of fame. Gayle was the second one to be inducted. Kohli also paid a fitting tribute to both the iconic players.

- Both Gayle and De Villiers started playing for RCB in the 2011 season. Since then, the legendary cricketers have changed the RCB landscape
- AB played 11 years for RCB and retired from the game 2021. Gayle played seven seasons for RCB and holds the record for the highest individual score of 175
- Gayle and AB have taken RCB to two finals in 2011 and 2016. Both players have won matches for RCB singlehandedly
