Quite understandably, Verstappen has been frustrated with the faults in the car, but he has clarified that he is planning to remain a Red Bull driver for as long as he can. On being asked the 24-year-old said “I feel really good in the team. There is no reason to leave. We get along well and we have a competitive package.”

Meanwhile, Verstappen has a contract with Red Bull till 2028, but he could remain a part of the team even beyond that “At the end of the contract I’m only 31 years old. Then I still have the option to continue or not. I still won’t be old at the end of the contract period,” he further added.
While the Dutch driver remains a title contender, his number one competitor has changed this season from Lewis Hamilton to Charles Leclerc. Explaining how he has different plans for Leclerc as compared to the Mercedes driver, Max said “Of course every driver is a bit different. Different in how he defends and how he attacks. That’s why you approach every driver a little bit differently.”
