Black Cat Halts IPL Match – Check what happened? During the second innings of the match, the play was interrupted for a while due to a cat.
RCB captain Faf Du Plessis was about to take a strike when he spotted a black cat seated on the sight screen. The incident took place in the first over of the RCB’s chase.
The South African got distracted and gave a wry smile and informed the umpires of the same.
Umpires instructed the staff to get rid of the kitten. The process took a little while and there was a brief delay in play with the cat hogging all the headlines.
The entire incident was caught on camera and the video is doing rounds on social media. Here is the video:
