- Kohli has scored just 216 runs in 12 IPL games for RCB this season. His strike rate of 111.34 is the lowest in all the IPL seasons he has batted
- Kohli has scored just one fifty in 12 games, which is the lowest he has scored since 2010. The former RCB skipper though will look to turn things around against PBKS
- The 33-year-old is known to face challenges head-on. With RCB still needing two wins to reach the playoffs, Kohli would be itching to get back among runs
- The former RCB skipper returned to form as an opener in the three games he has played. Kohli scored a fifty against GT but slipped a bit against SRH

- RCB has played 12 games and have won seven. They currently have 14 points on board. The team is placed fourth on the points table
- The Faf du Plessis-led side have two games still left and a win in both games will take them to 18 points and guarantee them a place in the playoffs
- But if RCB loses to PBKS, it will open up multiple possibilities.
- An RCB win will all but end PBKS and KKR’s hopes as they will be able to reach a maximum on 14 points.
