On Thursday, Rohit Sharma announced that an NFT, which contains the artwork of a rhinoceros alongside his image and a personalized autograph, will be launched later this week on FanCraze.

Notably, Sharma has always been very vocal about animal conservation, and back in 2015, he launched a campaign called ‘Rohit4Rhinos’, so as to raise awareness on the situation of one-horned rhinoceros and ways of conserving the special.
In the opening game of IPL 2021, Rohit Sharma was even seen wearing shoes with a special message ‘Save the Rhino.’ Speaking on the NFT launch, he said “It is special for me to take a cause so close to my heart into newer mediums to raise awareness.”

“We all need to work towards leaving a better world behind, and the NFT with FanCraze will give fans the opportunity to own unique artwork and spread the word around the ‘Rohit4Rhinos’ campaign,” Sharma further added.
Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma’s Mumbai Indians will take on the Chennai Super Kings at the Wankhede Stadium on Thursday, May 12. Mumbai are already out of the playoffs race, but a win here will help them close the gap on CSK.
