Rahul keeps the hopes alive with fifty – On the very first ball of the innings, skipper Kane Williamson was dismissed for a diamond duck and departed without facing a ball. In the same over, Abhishek Sharma also followed for another duck but Rahul kept on going as he scored 58 runs in 37 deliveries for SRH. His innings included six fours and two sixes while rest of the batting lineup struggled to keep pace against RCB.
Second fifty of the campaign for Rahul– The fifty against RCB was Rahul’s second of the season as he earlier scored 71 runs against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Rahul has been a key member of the squad as he gives them fulcrum in the middle order after Abhishek Sharma and Kane Williamson. In 10 matches he has scored 286 runs and has impressed whenever he has been given opportunity.

Titanic collapse for SRH despite Rahul’s heroics – Despite the heroics of Rahul Tripathi, SRH were never in the game as rest of the batting lineup failed to make an impression. Wanindu Hasaranga ran the show with his fifer as he became third bowler to achieve the feat in this IPL season. SRH lost the match by 67 runs as they were bowled out for 125 with four balls to spare.
