Also famous for being a ‘National Crush,’ Kavya is involved in day-to-day activities at SRH. David Warner seemed to remember all the embarrassment with the Orange army. He took a perfect pounding of his ex-franchise bowlers with shots all around the ground. He also shared a crucial unbeaten partnership of 122 runs for the 4th wicket.
David Warner on Thursday also scored his 89th half-century in T20 cricket, surpassing the West Indian legend Chris Gayle for most half-centuries in the shortest format of the game. Gayle has 88 T20 half-centuries in the T20 format followed by other prolific batters like Virat Kohli (77), Aaron Finch (70) and Rohit Sharma (69).
The victory helped DC displace SRH from 5th spot to sixth in the latest points table, increasing their chances of an IPL 2022 playoffs berth.
