WWE Rumors & News: Ali has been absent from on-screen appearances since October 2021.
On his return to Raw, he competed against The Miz in a singles competition, successfully defeating him.
However, this was not the original plan scheduled for the WWE Superstar.
As per Fightful Select, the plans to bring back Ali came up last week and WWE booked Ali to face a defeat in his first match after his return.
Eventually, that didn’t happen. Instead, WWE booked Ali to interrupt Miz Tv and challenge The Miz for a singles match where he won the match will a roll-up pin.
Also, during the heated conversation between Ali and The Miz, the former WWE Champion referenced Ali’s absence and his request for WWE release.
As per the reports, Ali was comfortable referring to his absence on live TV.

Moreover, several superstars in the Raw locker room were glad to see Ali back. Ali is one of the superstars who worked hard since his signing to WWE.
Ciampa Attacks Mustafa Ali on Raw
Ali competed in his first match against The Miz on his return. Both men fought well to put on a great show. However, it was Ali who steal the victory in the end with a roll-up pin victory.

Later, fans saw the former NXT Champion Ciampa attacking Ali, but WWE cut it short. Also, a recent name change got revealed as the former Blackheart member is called by his last name ‘Ciampa’. There are several reports of several name changes and heel turns on the main roster. In the coming weeks, WWE fans would witness it slowly.
