Max Verstappen WINS Imola GP – Highlights

Max Verstappen, who started the race on pole after winning Saturday’s sprint race, had a fantastic start and established himself in front. While the race in itself had too many exciting twists and turns, things were rather boring for Max Verstappen who drove a lonely race and was totally left unchallenged.

However, the one incident that the defending world champion would surely cherish for a very long time. Given the history of the epic rivalry between these two drivers, such an occasion is very rare and Red Bull made the most of it, by taking a dig at Mercedes.

Meanwhile, Max Verstappen won the Imola GP quite comfortably. To make things even better for Red Bull, Verstappen’s teammate Sergio Perez finished in P2, with Lando Norris finishing P3 and thereby claiming McLaren’s first podium of the season.
