UFC News: Marvin Vettori in search of a new opponent after Robert Whittaker rules out of the UFC 275 Bout

Robert Whittaker rules out of the UFC 275 Bout against Marvin Vettori: Marvin Vettori and Robert Whittaker were supposed to clash against each other in the Octagon for the UFC 275 PPV but unfortunately Robert Whittaker ruled himself out of the fight because of an ankle injury.

Robert Whittaker used his social media to let the fans and community that he would not be able to compete against Vettori as he would not be able to get cleared by June.

He even apologized and said that it would take him couple more months after the fight date to be ready to make his octagon return.

Sorry to say guys due to an injury I took early in the camp I’m not able to compete in June. I did everything I could to get it right but its not healing in time. All this means is that I’ll be back in the octagon a couple months later and I’ll be better than ever 👊🏽 pic.twitter.com/Q0PEtjxDfs

Marvin Vettori in search of a new opponent: Marvin Vettori has once again been left with no opponent with Whittaker ruling his name out and the former title challenger is all in for the next opponent.

Vettori has called out the ‘Smesh Bros’, Darren Till and Khamzat Chimaev to step up for the vacant position. He even said that “I’m the only 185er that can say that has never pulled out of a fight”.

Paula Costa who earlier faced Marvin Vettori in the Light Heavyweight division has put his name forward to replace Whittaker. Although UFC is still to make any statement on this, there is no opponent for Vettori as for now.
