Thursday – 12 °C, 90% chances of rain
Friday – 17 °C, 90% chances of rain
Saturday – 23 °C, 40% chances of rain
Sunday – 21 °C, 0% chances of rain
The sprint race makes a comeback to the 2022 F1 season. This year the first sprint race will take place at the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix on Saturday, whereas the usual qualifying session for the sprint race will take place on Friday. Hence, it is very likely that drivers will have to deal with wet conditions in the qualifying session.
Meanwhile, the Barcelona circuit was artificially watered during Pre-season Testing as the drivers presently can’t seem to nail wet condition running under the new 2022 regulations.

Notably, last year’s Emilia Romagna Grand Prix was also held in April and that race too was impacted heavy downpour that soaked the circuit during the race built-up, also resulting in aquaplaning.
