Bhuvneshwar Kumar-IPL record: Coming to bat first, Punjab had a poor start to their innings. Leading the team in absence of Mayank Agarwal, skipper Shikhar Dhawan couldn’t make much of an impact and was sent back to the pavilion after scoring 8 runs in 11 balls by Bhuvaneshwar Kumar. The SRH pacer in the process achieved a big milestone becoming the highest wicket-taker in powerplays across IPL history.

Second in this list is Sandeep Sharma, who has taken 53 wickets in the powerplay while veteran Indian bowler Zaheer Khan comes at number three. Zaheer holds the record for taking 52 wickets in the powerplay.
