IPL 2022: Prithvi Shaw in awe of David Warner’s ball striking
Shaw further stated he was happy to see Warner turning out for DC. “I am pretty similar to him like how he plays, the way he strikes the ball, everyone is his fan. I was really happy that I will see someone playing shots and trying to hit them here and there. I love to watch such kinds of batters from the non-strikers’ end. It was fun playing with him. I think we will complement each other well.”

IPL 2022: Prithvi Shaw up and running for DC
Warner could not contribute much for DC in his first match of IPL 2022. Shaw though lit up Mumbai with his blazing stroke play against LSG. The diminutive batter scored 61 off just 34 balls and took LSG bowlers to cleaners in the power play. He is certainly up and running in the ongoing season of IPL 2022
Shaw’s blitz though didn’t yield a favorable result for DC as they went down by six wickets. Nonetheless, the youngster’s form will ease some pressure off Warner, who is just trying to get into the grove for DC.
