Bravo lives to expectations – Bravo, meanwhile, is picked up for the first time – by Northern Superchargers – having gone undrafted in 2019 and again ahead of last season. No taker for Warner – David Warner, who was considered a star attraction among the draft entrees, is not believed to have been signed. Warner was part of the defending World T20 champion’s squad of Australia and is still considered one of the best player’s in the game. The unsold scenario comes as yet another setback for Warner as he was also released by Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Power hitting Pollard goes for big money – Pollard, who was set to play for Welsh Fire in 2021 before pulling out, has been picked up by London Spirit, who had the first pick in the draft – which was conducted behind closed doors – after finishing rock bottom last summer in the competition’s inaugural edition. Pollard is considered as one of the best players of the shortest format and is currently applying his trade for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
