In a hilarious conversation, Jos Buttler said it was Yuzvendra Chahal who kept the pressure on him to perform well.
“Absolutely! Ever since you turned up this year, you have been putting pressure on the opening spot. Have to take my time to score some runs to keep you on the outside,” Jos Buttler told Yuzvendra Chahal in a chat after the match.

For those wondering what is the context here, in a social media prank by RR’s Twitter account, Chahal was teased to open the batting with Buttler. It should be noted that Chahal isn’t known for his batting prowess.
Jos Buttler smashed a 68-ball 100 while Yuzvendra Chahal returned with two for 26 in his four overs to thrash Mumbai Indians by 23 runs. Chahal had almost got a hat-trick, only to be denied by teammate Karun Nair, who dropped the catch of Murugan Ashwin in the slips.
“Really enjoyed today. When you are batting first you try to work out what will be a good score and I thought we put up a nice total,” Jos Buttler said.
