RCB management organized an intra-squad practice match on Friday, where the roster was split into two teams – one led by skipper Faf du Plessis, and the other by Indian pacer Harshal Patel.

Faf’s team batted first and put up a humongous total of 215 runs on the scoreboard. The Protean batter starred with the bat himself, having scored 76 runs from 40 balls. Anuj Rawat and Sherfane Rutherford also batted well, whilst Harshal Patel did a good job with the ball, picking up 3 wickets.

In response, Harshal Patel’s team batted well but came up only two runs short, scoring 213 runs. Suyash Prabhudessai was the best performer with the bat, scoring 87 runs from 46 balls. His knock will give the management a big selection headache, since three players in Prabhudessai, Anuj Rawat and Mahipal Lomror are fighting for the same team. Bangalore will start their IPL 2022 campaign against Punjab Kings on March 27.
