Haas will see a new driver in their ranks as Nikita Mazepin’s contract has been terminated. The decision was taken after the Russian ongoing invasion of Ukraine. Haas even stripped off Uralkali as their sponsors. Pietro Fittipaldi, who is the reserve driver for Haas will be seen driving in the pre-season testing.
Guanyu Zhou is also in his rookie year for the Alfa Romeo team. He is the first full-time Chinese driver to drive in Formula 1. He will be partnering with Valtteri Bottas, who lost his seat at Mercedes.
The season will kick start on 20th March in Bahrain itself. So, now it’s do or die time for the teams present on the grid. Because, if they face any kind of problems now, then they will have no time to get it right.
