The Aussies has traveled to Pakistan after a long gap of 23 years to play three Test matches, as many ODIs and one T20I. The first Test will commence on Friday at the Pindi Cricket Ground in Rawalpindi.

These two cricketing giants first crossed paths back on 11th October, 1956, at Karachi. Despite the odds not being particularly stacked in their favour, Pakistan utilized the home advantage brilliantly to register a 9-wicket triumph. Australia’s first Test win against the green shirts came in November, 1959, at Lahore.
