Indian wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant has touched down in Mohali as India prepare for the upcoming India vs Sri Lanka series. Pant took to social media on Saturday and shared pictures of him on the ground ahead of the team’s net practice at the venue. The 23-year-old and the rest of the squad finished their quarantine in Mohali before entering the ground and beginning their preparations for the red ball series. Check pictures:

Earlier, Ravichandran Ashwin reached Mohali 10 days before the 1st Test against Sri Lanka. Ashwin was recovering from a wrist and ankle injury he suffered during the South Africa ODI series. The veteran spinner posted on social media, “Lovely to be back here, been a few years since we played a game at this wonderful venue. #mohali #indvsl.”

Ashwin was earlier named in the Test squad subject to fitness following his injury. During the injury layoff, Ashwin spent a week at the NCA to rehabilitate from the injury and will appear for a fitness test in Mohali ahead of the first Test starting March 4.
