Check out 5 top IPL buys who did well in PSL 2022:
1. Tim David
Mumbai Indians’ decision of spending INR 8.25 crore on Tim David raised many eyebrows, since the Singaporean-Australian player has played only one game in the IPL. However, his performances in the PSL prove why David is one of the most sought-after players in T20 cricket. Playing for the Multan Sultans, the 25-year-old hard-hitter scored 241 runs in ten matches at an average of 41.83 and an astonishing strike rate of 199.20.
2. Jason Roy
Gujarat Lions got Jason Roy for a steal at INR 2 crore, for the Englishman is having a fantastic time in Pakistan. Playing for the Quetta Gladiators, Roy scored 303 runs in only 6 matches at an average of over 50. At the time of writing, he is the leading run-scorer among foreign players.

3. Alex Hales
Alex Hales’ story is similar to that of Roy’s. He was signed by Kolkata Knight Riders for his base price and it could turn out to be a clever piece of business from the two-time winners, as Hales has been in sensational form in PSL. In the seven matches he played for Islamabad United, the Englishman scored 255 runs at an average of over 40.
4. David Willey
English players have certainly dominated proceedings in the 2022 Pakistan Super League, for David Willey is the third Englishman on our list. The all-rounder is plying his trade for Multan Sultans and has picked up 10 wickets in only six matches at an average of only 14.30. In IPL 2022, Willey will play for Royal Challengers Bangalore.
5. Chris Jordan
England’s death over specialist Chris Jordan, who was bought by Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 2022 auction, has had a good PSL campaign for Karachi Kings. Though his team finished at bottom of the standings, Jordan picked 9 wickets in only five appearances.
