Formula 1 News: AlphaTauri launch their car for F1 2022: AlphaTauri, the sister concern company of Red Bull have revealed their 2022 F1 car, the AT03. Formula 1 is all set to enter a new era from the upcoming season as it will have a new set of regulations. With Pierre Gasly and Yuki Tsunoda, AlphaTauri are ready to push for podiums again. AlphaTauri scored the most number of points to date last year. They picked up 142 points through Pierre Gasly and Yuki Tsunoda. AlphaTauri also finished sixth in the constructors’ championship.

Pierre Gasly, impressed everyone last year with his driving. He even scored a podium in Azerbaijan. Gasly finished ninth in the drivers’ standings. Gasly said, “This year the cars will see a huge change. In terms of regulations, the look and design is completely different. So the team had to start from a clean sheet of paper.”

“We won’t know the true performance of the AT03 until we get it on track in the pre-season. The pre-season will take place in Barcelona. But for me, it looks great and I’m very excited to get this new season started.”
Yuki Tsunoda, was in his rookie year last season for the team and has been retained for a second season. Tsunoda added, “It really does look great. Of course, we have not seen the real car on the track yet. But, the design and new shape are really cool. Even the livery suits it very well and I hope everyone enjoys the launch video.”
With the digital launch, AlphaTauri became the fifth team to reveal their car. It has a revised blue color and white livery. It is also proof that the new rules have yielded a variety of designs.

Team Principal for AlphaTauri, Franz Tost said, “I’m excited to finally reveal what our 2022 Formula 1 car will look like. It’s a completely new era in F1 and we hope this package will be very strong.”
Franz further added, “Once again, we have worked very closely with AlphaTauri (Red Bull’s clothing brand) to launch our new car. I think we have managed to deliver something very special this year.”
Pierre Gasly and Yuki Tsunoda will get their hands on the AT03 at the pre-season in Barcelona later this month. They will then fully know how the car behaves on the track with the new set of regulations in place.
