IPL 2022 Auction: RR & KKR SPEND BIG – The opening day of the IPL 2022 Auction saw teams spending huge sums for pacers. While Ishan Kishan was the costliest player at Rs 15.25 Cr, as many as 7 bowlers crossed the Rs 10-Crore mark. Apart from the quality, the age factor was also amongst big talking points in the 10 Crore club. Amongst the 10 players who were the top picks of Day 1, Harshal Patel was the oldest at 31 while the costliest Ishan Kishan was the youngest at 23. The likes of Ishan Kishan is considered as a future captain while the others have put up dominating performance over the last year.
