The claim according to Rob Dawson of ESPN:
Some Manchester United players on the training ground have jokingly likened assistant coach Chris Armas to fictional football coach Ted Lasso. The MUFC players are becoming frustrated with Rangnick’s methods with a section of the squad believing his training sessions are “old fashioned.”
Some Man United players have complained among themselves that Rangnick’s sessions are often based on 11 vs 11 work rather than dynamic drills they feel help to keep them sharp between games.

“There have been a lot of things said about Ralf [Rangnick] doing different things, sending people home with homework and the players being angry and unhappy about it, but it is false.”
