Both Dhoni & Rohit have scored 116 sixes on home social. While Dhoni took 113 innings to reach the landmark, Rohit achieved the feat in just 68 innings since he bats at the top of the order. Now, he can become the batter with most sixes in India.

  • But MS Dhoni has overall scored 123 sixes in India including his performances for Asia XI in two matches.
  • He is the fourth batter with most sixes in a country that features the likes of Chris Gayle, Martin Guptill and Brendan McCullum in the top 3. England captain Eoin Morgan also features in the top 5 list.
  • Rohit Sharma can also start his full-time captaincy career on a winning note with India’s victory in the second ODI.
  • He had earlier scored 51-ball 60 which comprised 10 fours and a six in the opening contest. He also shared an opening partnership of 84 runs with Ishan Kishan.
