FPL GW 24 DEADLINE:- 8th February 2022, 23:45 (IST)
The onset of a new game week brings the fresh trouble of picking the perfect playing XI for the Fantasy Premier League aka FPL. So managers gear up for a potentially difficult week as some of the returning stars from AFCON might not be a part of the starting lineup.
Mo Salah and Sadio Mane are some of the biggest names who are likely to be rested or might find a place on the Liverpool bench in the Reds encounter against Leicester. Players from Manchester City are high flying and are likely to perform big against Brentford.

Goal-Keeper:
David de Gea has been in some terrific form off lateDavid De Gea: Manchester United’s No.1 is our pick to guard the posts in GW 24. Though United has consistently conceded some silly goals, De Gea has been in terrific form this season. With 90 points already in this season and a price of 5.3, DDG will be a perfect fit against a low-block defensive Burnley unit.
Defenders:
Trent Alexander-Arnold has the highest points in FPL in the defender’s categoryTrent Alexander Arnold: The Liverpool full-back is one of the first picks of the playing XI. Having the highest points of 144 among other defenders, TAA produced 18 points in the last 4 fixtures. With favourable fixtures right ahead of the 8.5 priced defender, we can expect a flurry of points from him.
Joao Cancelo: The Manchester City full-back has been devastating in the attacks. With a strong defensive lineup of City, he also produces Clean Sheet points apart from his attacking returns. Cancelo too has quite a few easy fixtures ahead of him and has been in some incredible form off late after producing 21 points in the last 4 points.

Luke Shaw: Having missed the last 3 games, Luke Shaw will start against Burnley as Alex Telles is out after infecting covid. Shaw, the 5.0 priced defender can be a good fit against a defensive side like Burnley and can likely produce some good attacking returns.
Midfielders:
Manchester City’s Kevin de Bruyne is our Captain for Game Week 24Kevin De Bruyne: The captain choice for GW 24 is Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne. KDB has consistently performed over the last few game weeks and a favourable fixture against Brentford makes him a good captain’s choice. KDB has produced 29 points over the last 4 fixtures and has some easy fixtures ahead.
Jared Bowen: The West Ham midfielder has been one of the most consistent performers in FPL. With 124 points already this season, Bowen is a must-have in your team and can be a potential vice-captain candidate. Playing against Watford, we can expect huge attacking returns from the player who has produced 30 points in the last 4 games.

Bernardo Silva: Though Bernardo Silva has not produced high attacking returns off late, an easy tie against Brentford can be the perfect opportunity for the Portuguese to get back into his scoring form.
Conor Gallagher: One of the surprises of this season has been Conor Gallager of Crystal Palace. With 101 points this season and 14 points in the last 4 games, Gallagher is a vital player in the Palace midfield.
Diogo Jota: With the absence of Mo Salah and Sadio Mane, Liverpool will be banking on Diogo Jota to score goals against Leicester. Jota is the second highest point scorer in Liverpool after Salah. With 107 points and a price of 8.5, Jota is one of our perfect choices for the vice-captain spot.

Forwards:
Harry Kane will lead the attacking line of GW 24
Harry Kane: The skipper of the England National team will lead our front line. Though people might consider the 12.3 priced forward to be a gamble ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo, an easy fixture against Southampton can be a perfect opportunity for Kane to increase his goal tally. Moreover, Kane has recently found his scoring boots after providing 21 points in the last 4 games. Kane can also be a vice-captain option.

Allan Saint-Maximin: Partnering Kane in the front is Newcastle forward Allan Saint-Maximin. The 6.8 mil forward is a budget-friendly option that can score points against a demoralized Everton. St-Maximin has also been in some fine form after scoring 20 points in the last 4 fixtures.
Differentials
Jose Sa (GK) can be a good option after having consistently performed throughout the season. Brandon Williams (Def) with a price of 3.9 can be an option who has found some good attacking points off late. He has scored 15 points in the last 4 fixtures. Heung-Min Son (Mid) of Spurs can be a replacement in the midfield as a resurgent Spurs would be banking on Son and Kane to fire against Southampton. Cristiano Ronaldo (FWD) can be a replacement in the front as a goal-hungry CR7 is on the prowl for his next target.
