PSL 2022: The mid-season trade window for the Pakistan Super League 2022 (PSL 2022) has been opened on Saturday, 8th February. The seventh edition of the league has so far featured 15 matches that were played at the National Stadium in Karachi. With the second leg comprising 19 matches is all set to begin on Thursday at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, the transfer window has been opened to enable teams to trade players. Follow InsideSport.IN

The trade window will enable teams to trade only those players who have not featured even in a single match in this season. In a press release, shared on the official website of the PCB, the cricket board announced the rules for the mid-season trade.
- Each team shall be allowed a maximum of two trades.
- Only those players who have not played any match for their team will be eligible for trades during this window.
- In the players draft, teams bought players in 4 different categories namely Platinum, Diamond, Gold and Silver. Trades will be done with the players from the same category.
- This window will remain active till 6:30 pm 9 February, 2022.
- Both teams and the player(s) in question must agree to any potential transfer.
- The total number of active members in a squad shall remain unchanged.

The league will resume on 10th February at the Gadaffi Stadium in Lahore after a two-day break with Peshawar Zalmi taking on table-toppers Multan Sultans. At the end of the first leg of the tournament, Multan Sultans top the league table having won all their five games in the season so far. Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars take the second and third spot respectively having won three games each. Babar Azam led Karachi Kings to languish at the bottom of the table, having lost all their five matches.
