An official update about the reschedule of the fixture was posted on the official twitter handle of the Pro Kabaddi League. The post read, “Mashal Sports, the organisers of the Pro Kabaddi League, along with the management of the respective franchises, have decided to reschedule their match no 3 on 6th February between Dabang Delhi K.C and UP Yoddha. This fixture will be rescheduled to a later date within overall schedule of the league.”

The league has already seen several games getting rescheduled this year due to outbreak of Covid virus inside the bio-bubble created at The Sheraton Grand Hotel in Bengaluru. While an official reason for the reschedule of this fixture has not been mentioned, we cannot rule out the possibility of Covid outbreak in one of the camps.

The league is currently into its business end with teams fighting it out to seal playoff spots. The organisers of the league has successfully conducted more than 90 games this season with matches being played everyday despite the Covid situation, without any break. They have even released the tournament’s schedule for the next week with 23 matches about to be played between 5th and 13th February. Dabang Delhi K.C currently tops the league table with 9 wins in 17 games. While UP Yoddha is fighting for a playoff spot and currently find themselves in the sixth position.
