Last week a 14-year-old boy got arrested for shooting dead his mother and three siblings. It has been reported that the boy played PUBG for long hours a day, which negatively affected his mental state, according to police. ‘After failing in the game repeatedly, his stress led him to anger his family, hoping they would also come back to life as he did in the game,’ said a police spokesperson to Dawn. “There is a need to ban the game to stop acts of violence caused by this game,” police said. “Youth are addicted to completing the game’s tasks and ultimately commit violent acts.”
