Patna Pirates’ last game against Bengaluru Bulls on Thursday was rescheduled to a later date for reasons unknown. Pro Kabaddi League posted an update about the reschedule of the match on their official Twitter account. The post read ‘Mashal Sports, the organisers of the Pro Kabaddi League, along with the management of Patna Pirates have decided to reschedule their match no 70 against Puneri Paltan. The match will now be played between Puneri Paltan and Bengaluru Bulls on 22 nd January 2022. The fixture for Patna Pirates will be rescheduled to a later date’
With the reason behind the change in fixture yet to be revealed, it has led to various speculations on social media. with the league being played during Covid-19 times, the possibility of a Covid outbreak inside the bio-bubble can not be denied.
Patna Pirates last played a game on 18th January against Dabang Delhi K.C. The three-time champions lost the game 29-32. They are currently placed in the third position in the points table. Out of the 11 games they have played, they have won seven matches and lost three while one game ended in a tie.
