My Hero Academia Ultra Rumble: Game Details

As discussed earlier, My Hero Academia will be a Battle Royale Game. From the gameplay trailer released, we can see that the map for the game will be the Unforeseen Simulation Joint arena (U.S.J) inside the U.A. High School. This place was featured in the first season of the anime where the villains invaded and attacked Class 1-A here. Hence it can be considered as the best place for a Battle Royale Game to take place.

There will be 24 players who can participate in a Battle Royale match. There will be eight teams with 3 players in each. According to the official Japanese website, cards will be available in the arena, which can be used to strengthen a hero’s quirk. Team play will be the key to victory as the synergy between the different quirks of the 3 players will play a crucial role. Like any other battle royale game, the last team standing will win.

Bandai Namco Entertainment will be conducting an open beta test from 2nd till 6th February on PlayStation 4 in which 10,000 players from Japan are expected to participate.
