IPL’s costliest player till date Chris Morris turned out to be the biggest flops of IPL 2021. The formed dipped so bad that he ended up taking retirement ahead of IPL 2022 mega auction to avoid embarrassment. He failed to live up to the tag of an allrounder, managing just 67 runs but picked 15 wickets at an economy of 9.17.

Pat Cummins (15.5 Cr)- 2020

Australia Test captain Pat Cummins failed to live up to his price tag of Rs 15.5 Cr in the IPL 2022 edition. He managed 12 wickets and 146 runs in 14 appearances.

Jaydev Unadkat (8.4 Cr)- 2019

Jaydev Unadkat is one of the biggest flops of IPL across all editions till date. He scalped 10 wickets from 11 matches at a forgetful economy rate of 10.66. Since then, he is on a decline with questions looming over his IPL 2022 participation.

Ben Stokes (12.5 Cr)- 2018

New Zealand-born England allrounder Ben Stokes couldn’t change the fortunes of Rajasthan Royals despite getting a handsome amount in the IPL auction. He managed just 196 runs and 8 wickets in IPL 2018. His form has too come under the scanner and did not form a part of RR retentions.

Yuvraj Singh (16 Cr)- 2015

Yuvraj Singh became the IPL’s costliest player of all time before Chris Morris in IPL 2015. He was bought for a hefty Rs 16 crore by RCB- What did he do? Scored just 248 runs at an average of 19.07.
