WWE Royal Rumble 2022: Sasha Banks out for 6-8 weeks: Former Women’s Champion and Smackdown’s very own Sasha Banks is out for at least 6-8 weeks owing to a foot injury. She suffered an injury during a WWE house show in Fayetteville, North Carolina while competing against Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair, and she got injured during the match.
WWE Royal Rumble 2022: After seeking medical attention, it was revealed that Banks doesn’t have any limb broken, but the MRI report discovered a bruised calcaneus bone. She is at her home recovering and undergoing several physical therapies.

The news of Sasha’s injury hiatus was shared on WWE’s official Twitter handle with a caption that read,
“BREAKING: @SashaBanksWWE is expected to be out of action for 6-8 weeks after suffering a foot injury Sunday evening at a WWE Live! event in Fayetteville, NC.”

WWE Royal Rumble 2022: Sasha Banks set to miss Royal Rumble PPV
With this injury, the Boss Sasha Banks will seemingly miss the Royal Rumble PPV event slated to take place on Sunday, January 29, at The Dome in St Louis, Missouri. Sasha was expected to enter the 30-women Royal Rumble match and was one of the favorites to win it. However, this injury will keep her at the bay, but she is expected to return before the Wrestlemania 38 PPV event slated on April 3 & 4.
